RE: Places of Interest and Holiday Destinations
The Isles of Scilly-over the last 18 years ive spent a total of about three months on these beautiful islands.located about 28 Miles south west of Lands End,ive visited all six of the inhabited islands,st,marys, bryher, tresco,st,martins,st agnes and gugh and also some of the c 200 other islands, getting there is fairly simple, ive taken all three options over the years,A boat(The Scillonian) travels from penzance(not my favorite)Another option is to fly via a small 8 seater plane called skybus, its my favorite option, though flying out of the small st just airport is a very hair raising experience.the last option is to take a helicopter, its quick but damn noisy, but does give some excellent views of the cornish coastline. sorry if some of these facts are now outdated, ive not been in a couple of years.but you should give it a go.its a great place.
