Gerrard is innocent until proven guilty and no I'm not a liverpool fan - I've been a Man United fan for thirty years. None of us know what happened that night - the only thing I will say is one of my friends is mates with one of the biggest rock bands in the world and when I've been out with them - even before they were as huge as they are now you wouldn't believe the crap that they have to put up with. It can only be worse for footballers because it is so partisan. Personally I hope Liverpool do win the title a) because it's ridiculous that they haven't won it for so long when they are the biggest club in the country and b) whatever stops the monopoly that is us and Chelsea has got to be good for the game. I also hope Villa can get at least fourth (if not third) to really shake it up a bit.

There is no way on this earth you are a United fan. You claim to be a fan yet you want your biggest rivals to win the league. Utter Bollocks.

Historically Liverpool are our biggest rivals. However over the last few years it's been a foregone conclusion that either ourselves or Chelsea will win the title. Until someone throws a spanner in the works this cannot be good for the game. In an ideal world I'd like Aston Villa to win it as the have predominantly more English players than the others and this would benefit the game more but I know that this is not going to happen at least for the moment. If none of Martin o'Neill's players are tempted to united or Chelsea because Liverpool won the title then it might happen sooner rather than later. Until the monopoly is broken the top foreign players will mainly go to us and chelsea because they are guaranteed more wages, more medals and champions league football. Yes there will be players who will go to Manchester City for the money that they are undoubtedly able to pay but even if city can turn their present debacle around it's going to take a couple of seasons to have any impact. Man utd and liverpool hate each other because they know that either can beat the other - if they are honest neither set of fans can say the other team is rubbish. Why would I for instance want to see Liverpool relegated - imagine a season without United v Liverpool - I'd rather not.

Who you got in the Cup? Are you happy? If not who did want go get?

We got Derby away, not over the moon with this tie i must admit, just on the basis of what went on last time we played them away - cant see us getting that much luck again a second time round.

However we have got a better manager (and one thats going back to his old club), so it could be completley different, only time will tell.

Nothing worse than getting knocked out of the cup and then finding out that you've just missed out on a massive, money-spinning draw in the next round!

I'm a Stockport County fan and we got beat by Gillingham in the Round 2 - watching them play Aston Villa this afternoon live on ITV was heartbreaking and having to listen to David Pleat ramble on for 90mins didn't make it any easier!!!
