Plenty of room for improvement from England. Rooney was nearly invisible in the first half. Goalie was just unlucky - but then where was the defense? If Heskey can keep on-side he could be devastating.

Thought England played well tonight, especially the 2nd half when they threw the kitchen sink at the USA and if it wasn't for tim howard and some last ditch defending, England would have won. Interesting to see if green is still in goal next Friday. I think if James is fit then he should start, if James isn't fit then green again for me. His brilliant save in the 2nd half got England the point. If england play like this the next 2 games they will win both and qualify
