i've got to say i have not been myself recently this is because i cannot get a job and i'm getting quite depressed about it and i might be taking it out on this forum i'm just saying i just hope i have not offended anybody in the process

Does anybody remember this rant here? or how about its follow up rant? Well now it's time for part three.

We got a phone call on monday morning telling us that the work would in fact now be starting this thursday! Third week of February my-pale-spotty-arse! I'm writing this piece during a ten minute break from madly trying to empty the bungalow of anything that could conceivably get damaged during the work. You wouldn't believe the waiver we have to sign before the landlords will commence work! So from a long standing agreement to begin on the 19th of Jan., giving us ample time to get rid of everything temporarily, we were bumped to a vague "third week of February" also giving us (strictly speaking, me. Since the wife is disabled) ample time to put everything in order, to a sudden and unexpected we'll be there in 72 hours! I've got to scrabble frantically to find somewhere to put every-bloody-thing we own where it'll be safe, pull up the carpets and find somewhere to keep them, take down all curtains etc. and then redecorate when the work is finished, since re-wiring is part of the work being done.

I mean no offence to any members who might work in the construction industry, but FUCKING STUPID, BADLY ORGANISED, SHIT-HEADED, FUCKWITTED BASTARDING BUILDERS!!!

Sorry for shouting, I just needed to get that off my chest. Cheers for listening (or not, as the case may be).
