RE: Transfer Deadline Day
I think Keane was chosen by the owners of Liverpool and not Benitez so he didn't play him to prove he is in charge of the squad.I am chuffed to bits that Keane is back at Spurs! I saw the disappointment in his eyes every time Ramos took him off early and just knew he would be going away! I would have loved Malbranque to have come back as well but having Chimbonda,Keane and Defoe back is awesome.I'm gutted for Defoe and another Cup Final missing injury!
I think the sticking point with Arshavin is he is unwilling to learn French or Spanish and would therefore be an outcast at Arsenal ! !

I think that is why he has strengthened the midfield with Palacios and kept both Bent and Pavlyuchenko. We should have more strength in the air up front and more support from the midfield for whichever striker does the holding role behind Pav or Bent...hopefully!

RE: Transfer Deadline Day
Yeh,I respect Benitez for his stand and managers should have total control of their squad and future players. That's what happens when you let 'money bags' foreigners buy your team! I think Keane will slot back in seamlessly, every Spurs fan knows it was the Ramos thing that made him leave.I think he would have been a Spurs player until he retired had Jol been given more time.I just can't wait for the new stadium so we can cash in on the estimated 20,000+ people who want season tickets every year and can't get them.
