Resident Evil 5

Someone said in another thread that you could only download a demo of resident evil 5 on the 360, you actually do the same thing on the PS3 too. The only two problems i have with the game is that i think the controls were much better on resident evil 4 wii and you can't run while aiming, apart from that its shaping up to be a good game.

Resi Evil 4 was just brilliant and I played it through 1 and a 1/2 times (Sadly my PS2 broke before i completed the second go)

I loved how utterly rubbish the dialogue was, so cheesy, but a great and epip game.

Playing Dead Space at the moment (also a great game) and it's wetting my appetite for Resi 5. Roll on march 13, I'll be first in the queue to play it on my PS3

I look forward to it too...been a fan of the Resident Evil series from day one...nothings really replaced the buzz I had when I first played RE2 though...

When a game purposefully fucks up the controls to try to convey a sense of panic it doesn't say much for the rest of the game.

Shat myself though when the dogs jumped through the window in Resi 1.

don't give up hope, resident evil 5 could still come out on the wii and i can give you 2 reasons why:

1. a few ps3/360 games such as dead rising and dead space are suppose to be ported over to the wii this year and if the wii version of these games can show that it's possible for a hd game to be successfully ported to a non-hd console and still be great then a lot of other companies would definetely take notice.

2. resident evil 4 and resident evil umbrella chronicles on the wii have sold well over a million copies each, making capcom a ton of money (some people actually say that the wii version of resi 4 is the best version of all due to it's controls).

so given the reasons above why resident evil 5 should come out on the wii, it would be foolish of capcom not to port it over.

I am willing to say that that yes the Wii version of Resi 4 was the best of the lot, it had all the extra content, the best visuals and the best controls, making it one of the best games ever. Yeah Dead Rising is being released on the Wii but the visuals are much worse and there have been bits cut out, but it could work out to be a great port, couldn't stand the game myself though.

Oh and Kal, the controls unfortunately won't be as good as the Wii because of the lack of the pointer and I dunno why you moan that you cannot move while aiming, you never could in number 4. And I was the one that posted about it being out on only the Xbox 360 Marketplace in the other thread, and at the time it was, Microsoft had it exclusively on the Marketplace for one whole week lol.

Can't play any of them as I have Ambulo-Thanatophobia!(is my Ancient Greek right? That was meant to be fear of the walking dead?) Thoroughly petrified of Zombies. Now and again I'll try some immersion therapy and watch a zombie film, but it never works. I was one of the many who made Resi 2 the biggest selling psone game of all time, but only played as far as the gunshop window breaking before chickening out and going back to Deathtrap Dungeon Yes I'm a pussy when it comes to the flesh eating walking corpses. I can just about cope with zombie films, if I watch during daylight and take in something cheerful before bed, but the games are just too damned immersive for me.

FEAR2 on the ps3 ackually scares you which makes it better than Resident Evil 5 and the demo Killzone 2 unfortunatley, these two are just atmospheric game play.

If only there was an option to change the zombies into scarecrows eh.

WHAT? Open fire on my own people? What do you take me for oopnorth? Seriously though, they scare the shit out of me. Those things, plus spiders, clowns and Cilla Black. Whenever I have a nightmare it's about one of those four things...
