Still on air as I type this......oh how good it would be if they went for it on the last night, as a massive 2 fingers (inserted) to Ofcom. Let there be an evening of Babestar type entertainment...

That's a good point. When I left the flat earlier I set 954 and 967 to record from 21:00 onwards. In light of this news, I think I shall be popping home to set 902 to record instead Smile

I really hope they don't do that to Ofcom as that will mean more sanctions, and will increase the chances of early bird and pad and god knows how many more channels of going down the pan. SadSadSad

And none of us want the babe channels to go down the pan, not the producers, not the girls and most of all, not us, the fans. SadSadSadSadSad

Stan don't get your hopes up! 902 is leased from Playboy, who are the licensees. If Bang went mad Ofcom would go after Playboy, not Bang Media.

I'm sure Playboy would take a very dim view of Bang getting them into trouble and incurring fines and would probably sue them into oblivion, so I'm sure Bang will play it safe.

Prior to 1 September 2010, the material broadcast by the Licensees was subject to the Broadcasting Code, which includes the following specific provisions: . Licensees must therefore comply with the relevant Standards Code which applies to the material broadcast.

• Rule 1.17: “Material equivalent to the British Board of Film Classification ("BBFC") R18 rating must not be broadcast at any time.”Of the 48 breaches of the Broadcasting Code:
• 1 related to material found to be in breach of Rule 1.17/7
---------------------------------------------------------------
What in the world was that?

So the House of No Fun strikes, the tone of the judgement is very sober, is their any opportunity for appeal?
The other channels will be both slightly worried and happy that a competitor has been canned. As for the girls and those who work behind the scenes, they have my sympathy.

R18 material is shown on the subscription channels on a regular basis, particularly urination. This is strictly an R18 "activity" as far as BBFC are concerned (even if we don't see the point of exit of the urine).

Urination on sex works is an anomaly, I think, as everyone has always done it from the earliest of ages. Ofcon allow the broadcasters to show urination as long as the children don't see the urine leave the body.

We are a strange race, the British.

Boooooo! I've gone and done it anyway. Sod's law dictates that all the action will now be on 954.

But if they've had their licence revoked Early Bird and The Pad will have already gone down the pan
