RE: Babes "real" ages
Most of the more mature high profile girls seem up front about their ages, and that’s a really positive thing. I’m more interested in how comfortable the girls feel divulging their ages than the ages themselves, so here’s what I found interesting in my trivia log...
On 21st May ’09, Geri said on Babestation that she’d been 21 twelve times, which I think everyone will agree was a humourous alternative to saying: “I’m 32”. So, no apparent reservations from Geri.
On 3rd July ’09 Babestation presented Dionne with a birthday cake on screen, and she stated that it was her 34th birthday. Dionne’s also given her age in a post on this forum. You can’t get much more up front than that.
On 2nd October this year, Karina said on Babestation that she was ten years older than 21-year-old Ella, and seemed perfectly comfortable revealing the fact.
However, on 19th Feb this year, Emma Spellar told a caller she was 28, following her revelation with the words: “Bad, isn’t it?” Emma’s comment seems to suggest she might feel a bit more negative about her age, but I think if she was seriously concerned she’d just knock a few years off and go back to her early twenties. I’d be convinced – even after saying she was 28 she could still persuade me she was 20. Indeed, all of the above ladies could turn back the clock a significant amount without new viewers asking any questions.
As iloveMegan points out, Megan was ‘19’ for a fair old time, but I reckon that idea was driven by Babestation rather than Megan herself. That said, in the latter part of 2009, Megan was asked on BS Xtra how she felt about no longer being Babestation’s youngest girl. She said she’d enjoyed being the youngest girl and didn’t like moving away from that situation. I don’t think it helps when the girls are surrounded by a culture which subscribes to the ‘younger is better’ ethos. Babestation’s ‘girl callers’, for example, are rarely above their early twenties – even when they’re in their thirties, if you get my drift.
The actress Susan George once said that she didn’t want to look any younger than she was – she just wanted to look good. I think that’s a great and very healthy approach. And in conclusion, in my latter teens I remember having the raging hots for a 49-year-old movie actress. I had mates who fancied her too, and at no point did any of us give a toss that she was nearly 50... Well, when I say we didn’t give a toss – I think I might have bashed off the odd two or three... a day, obviously.
