Yep, Freddie knows his darts. He is not bad at the commentary lark. Whitlock was very impressive with some big checkouts, excellent display.

Freddie was on the other day aswell, i can't believe i missed him tonight & Whitlock as i've been watching Birmingham & Utd bore me to death for 75min, i was gonna start a darts thread the other day but wasn't sure where it would go, but there's obviously some other darts nuts here aswellBig Grin

I hope the crown starts to get behind James Wade as he's a top player, it looks like they're on his side tonight though.

I can't wait for the Premier League to start in February i hope Wayne Mardle's back as he's pure entertainment.

So James Wade has gone. That half of the draw has opened up somewhat. Taylor will possibly have to beat Webster and Whitlock in the other half before another possible final with Barney. The unknown quantity is Gary Anderson. If he hits his doubles he could do damage because thats his main weakness.

Yep Priestley threw some excellent darts although he had his chance to send it to a deciding set and didnt take it. A final set would have been fun. Barney through 4-1 against McDine. Good workout for Barney as his opponent played better than the score suggests.

If Taylor and Whitlock make the semis I expect the winner of that match to go on and win the title.
