A lawyer? What a joke! To add to the afore-mentioned use of the plural 'women' instead of 'woman' we now have 'basicly', 'responces', 'exspected' and 'reall'.

No-one with an education that poor would get to be a lawyer in a million years.

The use of 'lawyer', like 'trash can', suggests US origin - although it's perfectly OK liguistically, in the UK we normally use more definitive terms like solicitor and barrister.
