Capello seems to have a settled midfield in Wilshere, Parker and Lampard.... He could have an interesting problem when Steven Gerrard is fit again.

I think that Capello will be left with a decision of picking either Lampard or Gerrard.

i think we all know whats going to happen. when gerrards fit he will play him again, and its just the same with other senior players, ferdinand, lampard, cole, rooney. if these players are fit they always get picked even if they are not on form they still get picked first, which is sad. maybe one day an england manager might pick players on form and not just go for the big names even if they are not performing for their club sides, but i doubt it.

Although I do think Rio ferdinand shouldn't be first choice from now on as Michael Dawson has shown for Tottenham & England he's become a top level defender, I also hope Jack Wilshire, Scott Parker, Ashley Young & Darren Bent stay in & we should by no means what so ever go back to 4-4-2 as all our players are more at home with 4-3-3.

On the England captaincy, there's some good shouts for Parker or Jagielka to be given the role for the Ghana friendly with so many withdrawals - both natural leaders.

I'm dividing my attention today between watching Emma Spellar on Elite and the Brazil v Scotland match on ITV. Been impressed with this new batch of Brazilian wizzkids - and also great to see Wolves player Berra getting a good game in defence.

is deneilson playing? did he get injured?, please tell me he got injured!! nothing to serious, just enough to keep him out for the rest of the season!!!

No he didn't play as far as I know, didn't start anyway.
