Making enquiries: please don't be rude or sarcastic
Last night somebody sent a PM to admin which was a petulant and highly sarcastic moaning message because a routine enquiry of 4 hours earlier had not yet been answered.

Can everyone please note for the record that in this forum many issues are being dealt with at any point in time, sometimes involving time sensitive and pressing matters, and it is often simply not possible to give an immediate response to routine enquiries.

If your routine enquiry cannot be dealt with in 4 hours you are advised to be patient and wait a while longer. If you feel the need to send a reminder then that's not a problem at all. It's a fair enough thing to do, because in a very busy forum it's always possible that something could have got overlooked. But please do not adopt a childish or sulky tone in your reminder and above all do not bother becoming sarcastic.

The admin and moderators of this forum are here to help and do their best to assist members at all times. Nobody on the forum staff should be sent rude or sarcastic messages, especially if the only grounds for doing so is that a routine enquiry was not answered within 4 hours.
