New Channels!

I wonder if the Freeview ch192 picture quality will be any better than it was for Honey Nights, which was not very good, particularly when there was a lot of movement.

second that Becky was just moving around on 921 and the screen broke up pretty bad

Probably will be teething problems for a bit and pic quality will get better eventually

Been switching channels around comparing some more

921 is not great at all, 920 is OK, but not quite as good as normal Elite standards, 903 and 905 seem fine.

First day so, will see how they look in week or so. That will tell us which channels numbers will be the best to watch.

Ok, So let me be honest, I'm definately not part of the Jamie love parade.
So you flick through the channels and see 7 Elite channels with 3 girls working them (except for breaks) So we lose 3 channels and in return get 1 extra day Elite channel. From what i've seen it appears we will get something similar on the nights too.

This to me looks like a way of getting rid of competition and not giving back a whole lot in return. I can't help but feel if Babestation or a certain other channel had done this there would be outrage, So in getting a extra day and night channel the 15/20 TVX day/night girls are now out of work (assuming the girls aren't hired by Elite/as appears to be)

^^^^ Can't see the problem with that. TVX decided to finish their interest in the babe channel industry, so Elite TV just made them an offer to lease their former channels. Any idea that Elite TV was then going to hire the former TVX babes is just madness.

Maybe in time you'll see one or two babes added to the Elite TV roster to cover some of their extra channels, but for now the schedule tells you all you need to know. Yep, broadcasting the same gal on various channels it is.

As chilly says TVX decided to end their business with the babeshows and my guess would be that elite agreed to lease all the channels just 2 get the freeview slot

I'll chip in my with 2p worth...

EliteTV have inherited two of probably the worst quality channels - the "old" 920/921 have incredibly low bandwidth and suffer awful blockiness. It's a good job (that at present for now) they're not showing anything unique.

I don't see the point of multiple channels if its the same shows, unless it was (as gazfc surmised) purely for freeview channel...

There's also the concern that they have 5 channels, only 2 of which you can see without a $ky box/card. Channels 900,903 & 905 are effectively unavailable for quite a lot of people...

To be honest given the commonality of the shows, the same sets, the same girls, the same routines, the pointless increase in OSG, I can't say I'm that bothered really as I rarely watch their channels anymore.

Well said Chills! You cannot get too much Elite to be honest.As sign boy said we would be up in arms if a certain other channel had done this.For the record none of us had a problem with the certain other channel they had it with us.Elite are part and parcel and participate fully with us on this forum so we welcome any move to improve their coverage.

We will tell them if their standards drop and normally they listen and respond that's good enough for me.

I think it was a block deal, so Elite get all the TVX stuff including freeview. TBH this was the only way they were gonna get a freeview slot as they are very sought after.

I am not sure you will see much in the way of more girls on the other channels. You end up competing with yourself at a certain point. And teh logistics of all those extra cameras feeds, producers etc might not make financial sense.

Duplication just means you are more likely to draw in a callers who are flicking through the channels.
