Are The Babe Channels in Need Of An Overhaul & If So, How?

I think Stan hit the nail on the head, bigger sets, oil fighting and strip games using the 3rd girl to take the calls and bogus bets aswell as bring back the live sms system, every night now is the same old show more or less similar to the previous but the age old question still remains just what does the future hold say in the next couple of years. Will ofcom maybe start to cut the shows a bit of slack or will they in the not too near distant future be a thing of the past so that some kind of revolution can take place. Will Cameron for example eventually deliver his promise's of cutting out needless quangos to not only sway the vote for the next election but also to try to keep the British Union together and persuade Scotland not to become a Republic. We are now well into the 21st Century and the babe shows really need to channel a different energy now without any kind of censorship. Regenerated too hit the nail on the head that things get pretty old and tired soon and just the same way as Hotel Voyeur and Babeworld went bust probably down to the kind of stale show's they were delivering that us the viewer's/callers will get pretty sick and tired of it and thus the channel just won't be making the money to survive. Babestation at the moment are getting away without murder but I feel unless they start listening more to what people on this forum are saying about the current show that they could be next to feel the dejected feeling of going bust. The bottom line is unless the shows improve more in the coming years more and more of them will go bust down to lack of interest, first off they have to address the ofcom Issue, not shy away from it and not give in so easily to British censorship.

Do the babeshows need to change? Is the Pope Catholic?
The reality is, that unless the babechannels start doing different things like some of the ideas already mentioned on this thread, then the future is looking bleak for them.
Elitetv had the right idea by getting some US pornstars to appear on their show and getting some of the most popular daytime girls to do nights but they need to get more girls on the nightshows.
With regards to BS, they need to either go and become a porn channel or get back to how they were before BSXtreme came along with all the excessive advertising and get rid of the whole hosting idea, but I think i'm more likely to become the next Prime Minister than BS actually taking on board what we're all saying on this forum.
All the channels need to really do, is stop being exactly like each other and be different i.e, get rid of the bed sets and do other kinds of sets.

Like i said in an earlier post, i’ve been saying this for years, and i have. But i’ll elaborate a little now..

More stations, than not, have numerous channels, so why the f*ck do they not have different themes on these channels? Therefore catering for the different needs of the viewer/callers - it makes no (business) sense to shut out possible callers due to this. But this is what they’re doing by having the same scenario on each channel.

I read somewhere above, that we’re here to view the girl, not the set. Yes, but.. the set is an extension of the fantasy that the girl we are watching/speaking with gives. Likewise with what the girl wears. So different sets are vital to longevity in my opinion – given a choice, people would want variety, rather than same old, same old. Variety is the key, again, like somebody has already posted in this thread.

For those that don’t agree, fine, keep a bed set where the girl lays down all day/night long doing not a lot, but only on ONE channel. Utilise the others to maximise the channel’s potential.

The stations that only have one channel, even try to change things – Club Paradiso and Chat Girl spring to mind here. And they’re the channels that, in my opinion, put out the better shows! (Daytime speaking anyway).

Of maybe lesser importance, the channels also need to be aware of imposing on screen graphics and/or camera work to avoid this. Personally, i think camera work could also be better, generally anyway.

The posts in this thread so far are all full of valid points, viable options and sense. It’s said that the customer is always right.. and this is still true in the babe channel world. It’s also said that change is always needed to adapt and move forward as the world and it’s people are always changing. Again, it (should be) no different in the babe channel world.

So yes, i believe drastic change is required.

And yes, the Ofcom issue is a separate one, and one that needs tackling head on, else, as you are doing, burying your head in the sand is only going to contribute to you/us, ultimately, losing the channel(s) – is this what everyone wants? I don’t think so.

What I liked on the channels was the mixing up of the sets, for example having a shower set, alleyway set etc and taking it away from the bog standard girl on a mattress/bed. I feel that gives the girls more scope in what they can do and makes the shows better.

Yes, they are in need of a revamp.

I like the idea of strip games, or other types of fun events. I know all of these channels have done things similar to that, but they never lasted long, and weren't brought to the best fruition because of Ofcom.

Also, I think having handheld POV sessions on every channel would be beneficial. It's fun, and interactive, and lets the women get a bit more wild.

More movement, handheld camera work, and uncensored nudity would fix these channels.

Having had some spare time recently I've watched some daytime stuff.I didn't realise how many beauties are stuck on days compared to the amount of tired old seen em before that are on nights.(Rachel,Tammy,Bex,Roxy,Rosie)to name a few.

What would be great if we could put all day girls on nights just for one day and all night girls on days,seeing some of the night girls when you're sober will open a few eyes.

Overall ? Ofcom want the babes to cover up & wear Overalls,Noooo...could it possibly get any worse !

Last night for me was nothing short of a borefest, Elite Tv for example brought back the shower set for example but unfortunately the set failed to lift the show, how many people do you know that wear clothes when they take a bath or shower, well they do in the world of the babe channels, it rendered the whole point of shower set useless, Club Paradiso is yet another channel that lacks the constency, great show on Friday and Saturday, but total shit last night, Babestation well you just knew also last night going by the line up that the show was going to be dire and as for RLC they had all the safe, more clothed models on last night and for Sport unless it's Bailey that's on the show is just not worth watching, yes last night was a Sunday but it doesn't excuse for a dire show allround, the lack of consistency all over the babe channels last night was alarming, on the plus side I had an early night but for so-called sexline channels it was poor, dire stuff. Far too many safe models these days just not willing to even attempt to push any boundaries makes the shows unwatchable.

I have found the babe shows lacking a little bit over the past few months, mainly since Ofcom's crackdown on Bang Babes pretty much killed any risque activity. Babestation is bland as hell, Elite has gorgeous babes who just lay there half the time and RLC has absolutely awful sets and the picture is poor, despite having some really good babes.

The unmentionables have had their moments with some off camera teasing and Elite TV put on the best show of the year with Kelly Bell on nights but overall, the channels have gotten pretty stale. Obviously the rules do put a damper on some things but there are still plenty of things that can be done but sadly it's not happening often enough and most channels are just a nice looking babe lying on a bed all night, barely moving. Let's get some different sets, some more performance from the girls and just a bit more activity. 2-4-1's, showers, naked shows, oil, why not get that stuff more involved? Surely there are ways to do it without getting fined for it.

I also sorely miss Babestation Xtra. That was a great show when you get the likes of Geri, Yvette, Dionne etc. hosting with other babes popping in for a bit to read out texts and look at pictures etc. Even if they just did this on 910 for the 9-10pm hour, it'd still be something a bit different instead of straight into the norm. But I guess the cost of an hours calls is more than the texts and pictures they'd get in an hour so it probably isn't worth it for them.
