How Was It For You ? Season 2010/2011

19 says it all!!!!!!

Fulham had an interesting season. Initially disappointed when the Scousers stole and ruined our greatest manager Hodgson, but was mildly pleased with Hughes as his replacement. He had a slow start what with the injuries, but the team supported him ainst Al Fayed when Hughes was about to be sacked when we were in the bottom 3 at Xmas. We had a brilliant 2nd half of the season to finish 8th (our 2nd best finish) & a Europa League place made the end of the season very good!

Then Hughes ruined it.

He showed how little he cared for and respected the club by leaving the first second he got (despite the players backing him when he was going to be sacked) and thought a 'better' team would pick him up - no such luck for the greedy and now unemployed selfish prick. He just used us as a stepping stone when he could have stayed and improved us loads more, he thought Villa / Chelsea wanted him, but nope!

Now we have Martin Jol, who is an excellent manager for our level, and the signing of John Arne Riise is very encouraging. The Europa cup run won't be as great as last time, but hopefully we'll give it a good shot!

I would be pleased with a stable team, manager and club for a few years now, and remaining in the top 10 would be lovely (plus, a cup run or 2 would be great!)

It went great until February then the last few months of the season were a living nightmare. For the first time ever I couldn't wait for the season to end!
