RE: tvgirlsgallery.co.uk
It seems to be hit or miss, at present whether you can log onto this site or not. I've been getting a lot of time outs trying to access this site. Is there some sort of problem with it?

I'm not aware of any issue with the site itself, but there may be a network problem. I tried a tracert command and connected twice quite quickly but timed out on a third attempt. I'll investigate it further.

It's definately a network fault, as I did two traces 10 min's apart, at 22:30 & 22:40. As you can see from below, both timed out at the same point.

Yes I see that. The server and it's immediate network are fine and are running well. It's a problem with a network which is several hops away from the server and which we therefore have no control or influence over. This kind of thing is 'internet weather' and unfortunately there isn't much that can be done, except wait until the network in question is repaired. In your tracerts the problem is with the routers that are owned by hwng.net who are hopefully aware of the problem and are fixing it. I tried to connect just now as a test and connected to the site quickly and without any problems, but my own tracerts today don't show hwng.net as part of the connection.

RE: tvgirlsgallery.co.uk
To notify, the other site hosted on that same IP address of http://www.babeimage.co.uk is not working at all nor responding to a traceroute (not to say it is network as a device in the routing path could be droping ICMP packets). As both the images sites resolve to the same IP address I assume when one has issues, so does the other...

RE: tvgirlsgallery.co.uk
It's not that much of a problem on the forum. If the images don't show up, then usually a couple of taps on the f5 key usually corrects the problem.

It's just a pain, when your uploading a batch of images to the site and you get timed out. As then you have to start all over again. But it's still workable at present.

RE: tvgirlsgallery.co.uk
Sorry to moan/bleat/generally annoy, but any news on whether this is being formally looked into and fixed ?

Both the sites have been effectively down for >24 hours now, and I thought part of the rationale for posters to use them was that they're maintained by the same people that maintain this site.

Accepting the previous statement about 'internet weather', surely someone must have responsibility either directly or through each successive party providing the hosting services, to get this resolved...

(As an update, using my other ISP works fine to both sites. So likely there's nothing "wrong" such that no one will actually fix anyting at the hosting companies etc - looks like it's a back-haul routing issue for some ISPs. My IDNet doesn't work, my PlusNet does).

No, it's not being looked into any further. As already posted it's a problem which the webhost has no control over as it's distant from them. Unless there is a separate issue not related to the original problem.

They aren't down for me and weren't yesterday. The last time I had a problem myself was 3 days ago. If you can't connect now can you do a tracert so we can see if there's a new issue involved?

The original problem with hwng (Highwinds Network Group) has been fixed as far as I can see. If you think it hasn't been fixed perhaps you can do a tracert so we can see that there is still an issue?

I'll check the server logs and see what caused that message. There are a number of possible causes.
