PES vs FIFA

A debate that will last an eternity, but which do people choose to play?

I have and forever will be a PES man, I believe it has always been the best game, and yes FIFA has definitely improved, I still have more fun playing PES!

What do others choose?

Any information about either game soon to come out?

i used to be a pro evo man but have swapped to fifa the last couple of times!

I don't have consoles any more, but I used to be a PES man on the PS2. It pissed over Fifa. I haven't even seen a PES game let alone played one for years, however I have played Fifa recently and I would imagine that is hard to beat.

For me, speaking about years ago, it was always PES purely down to its gameplay.

okay come on, FIFA just owns PES now!!!! I used to play both because FIFA had better graphics and all the licenses but PES had better gameplay. But for like the last 2 or 3 FIFA games, the gameplay is sorted now on FIFA and I think that FIFA trumps PES in all departments

I have heard this a lot, and fair enough. I personally still think that the FIFA gameplay is too slow, and that the passing is very odd, you pass it along the ground across the pitch and it will curl the ball everytime! I find that so strange!

I have heard this a lot, and fair enough. I personally still think that the FIFA gameplay is too slow, and that the passing is very odd, you pass it along the ground across the pitch and it will curl the ball everytime! I find that so strange!

okay that pass glitch is one thing that does put a minor dent on the gameplay because I have encountered that, but rarely. Other then that I think that all FIFA had to do was crack the gameplay and there franchise would easily become Number 1. And I think they have sorted the gameplay. It's a great game now, with great graphics!!!

This is why I made this thread, I find it so interesting what one person sees as great gameplay, and a second person doesn't see it that way!

Will be interesting to see to what extent PES and FIFA improve their gameplay, as the past few PESs have been improvements on an awful edition a few years ago!

i don't play them myself, but my brother prefers PES, i just find it funny when "west midlands blue" (i think) plays "east london" and it's birmingham vs. arsenal! what's that about?! my brother said it's something to do with not paying some legal thing to use the real names or something, i weren't really listening since it was about football... i don't see why anyone would like that, i wouldn't like a wrestling game where the wrestlers were called gulk gohan or the rook or the overgiver (see what i did there? instead of undertaker?... anyway)

It because FIFA have the licensing rights, so PES have to do that!
