im a fifa man because it doesnt look cartoony and it has al the teams ect

From about FIFA 10 they been ahead of PES though PES owned it before then right up to when it first came out.

Absolutely spot on.

Though being a loyalist, I'll never choose to play FIFA over PES, I have played them on occasion at mates' houses, but I still prefer the crap PES games!

I bought Fifa 12 today for the PS3. Haven't put it on yet, I was going to put it on this evening after I've watched the footy on Sky.

Well, I've put it in, and my first impressions - I wish I hadn't.

A lot of confusing menus and setups take away a lot of enjoyment before a ball's even kicked off. The movement of the play is so slow, it doesn't feel what I expect a FIFA game to be about.

A lot of the players don't resemble the real people, and the stadiums are ludicrous. For example - Wolves play their home games at somewhere fictious called "Ivy Lane"

Only 20 minute maximum per half.

OK so the sound is impressive. Plenty of teams to select from too.

But isn't a football game supposed to be about the gameplay and the accuracy of the detail? I feel really pissed off now that I spent £37 on this.

I've played FIFA games before and have been impressed. But this, on first impressions at least, is a real let down and one I don't really want to put in the machine again.
