R.E.M - Split

REM have announced via their website that they are to call it a day after 31 years in the music business

I was a big fan of their music in the 90's and Monster was a great album in it's day and still sounds as great today as it did back in 1994 when it was released. It's no surprise to me that they have split as they have moved more and more out of the spotlight in recent years but like I said they were a great band in their day.

No doubt 2016 will see a "Re-united tour"

They were a good band with a decent healthy back catalogue, Michael Stipe has definitely inspired and influenced many people. Thanks for the music!

Yes and at this point in time we will also be asking just exactly who were ofcom when we are debating the latest viewing of the pussiefest channels REM - Well that'll be something we'll not see much off - Rapid Eye Movement after yet another glorious night for the babe channels in the year 2016 when flash the gash will be refered to as tame material

I fainted in the curry house when I heard REM had split up. That's me in the korma.......

it sent me 'nightswimming' all over the room........... but those amongst us can all see there is another reason for this... as Take That found.. absence makes the heart grow fonder...!!?? i give it 5yrs till the big reunion...yeah, 2016 sounds like a good date.... if the earth's still here by then......!!?? (i dont go in for conspiracy theories, but you never know)
