Not a chance. The channels would compete for viewers, or more importantly callers. The easiest way they'd be able to do this would be by being more explicit than their competitors. Anyone who didn't reveal more would lose out to those that were. It would change the face of the free to air/view channels completely. While the channels might prefer to get a fiver from viewers in return for more revealing/explicit shows, with no restrictions they'd be forced to compete on their free channels - it'd only take one channel (for example a new channel which would need to make its mark maybe) to show more skin in order for the others to follow suit. Those with more than one channel might be able to offer different types of services on different channels to appeal to different markets - nude models on one and lingerie clad glamour models on another - although I'm not convinced the latter would work if there were no restrictions whatsoever.

Stan, I am not asking any question, for anything, of anyone. Any possible scenario that I have suggested. I have gone on to give my own view of what I think the outcome would be regarding the channels As far as the girls are concerned no one could possibly predict what they would do. How could one? All my simple original post 'the part concerning the girls' said, was that it would be the interesting finding out. What was written as a throw-away piece is turning into somewhat of an epic.

You can't argue that your very first (hypothetical) question in your OP was the what would happen to the babeshows if Ofcom disappeared and a more "liberal and broad-minded organisation" were put in their place (your words, not mine). So I'll say again, they'd revert back to how they were before Ofcom clamped down. Now if that's not what you were asking, then you and me are speaking a different language.

the only problem with more explicit shows is for all they show more they tend to get less calls. but more viewers...
to be honest i dont think i would watch a full on HC show. coz porn bores me. but i would tune in if the girls were allowed to do fully naked without restriction 18 rated shows... pretty much similar to the kind of show you would find in stringfellows... slightly more explicite than on tvxPPV chat.

for instance i find that even my fav girls on SSTV bore me after 20 mins but i found myself watching 40 mins of babe station germany the other night. the girls were naked camillaizing there cushions... when they accidentally showed there undercarriage the cam op just let it go rather than rush zooming to there face. which is actually way less offensive to me... i could have watched another hour but there language is just to brutal.

when they pull away that quick it makes you want to upchuck. it sends a message that, this was naughty and you shouldn't have seen it...literally making a big deal out of nothing... but in the eu zone things are much more laid back.

You're right matey, stop looking in the past, and look to the future, i think we can all agree the last 2-3yrs have been the best yet with more 241s and more interaction and so on. The fact still remains until Ofcom F**K off and the laws are relaxed as they used to be, only then can we start to enjoy our babe channels as they were intended.
I was reading in one of the posts how Ofcom can think a mans penis and testicles are perceived not to be offence yet a woman's Vagina is deemed to be Offensive mmmh work that one out?? To conclude as scottishbloke has mentioned we all need to look to the future, and let all of us who love our babe channels hope 2012 will be Ofcom free YAY

I wonder if secretely Ofcom are just jealous because it's only babe channels on the 900+ platform, maybe just to even the score they should have a bloke channel for the gays and women which obviously this is what the Ofcom panel are made up of , just a thought, I obviously wouldn't be watching it, I only like women
