Well, surely that would write itself - introduce Clay as the modern Mankind/Cactus Jack, give him Foley as a mouthpiece if they don't trust his mic-work & take it from there.

I liked 'The Funkasaurus' ... [pauses to let that sink in for a second] ... as no one expected that gimmick it immediately adds some history to him, which can be undone and/or forgotten. Plus, it lets the crowd go where they want with it - they can either embrace it and go along for the ride [ironically] or they can hate it and use that as a justification for a heel turn or have him break character to the annoyance of "creative", cementing his face status. Lots of potential directions AND the noticeable impact of getting us talking about him [which is the whole point ... whether we're hating the disposable gimmick or not].

Also, did the similarity to Flash Funk's gimmick and ring entrance not tip the hat that management knew it was dated and clichéd?

i also just realised, if they're bringing out their own network, surely that means the return of the attitude era is much more likely? because it'll be their OWN network.... they'll say what they do and don't show, not the usa network or sky sports, etc..... although i'm probably wrong, just thought it was worth mentioning..... Wrestlemania 29 is to be held at the MetLife Stadium, that's where both the New York Jets and the Giants play. Vince McMahon was happy as he is getting it before the Superbowl does the next year (2013 compared to 2014).

Wrestlemania isn't going to be at MSG it is going to be at the Cowboys Stadium down in Texas.
