You watch them and enjoy them as and when you feel like it. You should all do what I do and have them on in the background while you're doing other things. The moaners need to stop taking things too seriously. Enjoy the channels when your favourite girls are on and don't watch them when they're not.
Not exactly rocket science is it?
Who is this 'you' that enjoys these channels? It's not about simply switching off if we don't enjoy them, it's about wanting to be treated as adults and not being held responsible for the neglect of all the parents in the country.

But back to sex. We can probably all find porn. But a computer screen just isnt the same as a big TV screen. Not yet. Jerky video on demand isnt the same as a smooth sharp TV channel. Recorded 5 minute clips with guaranteed endings arent the same as an all night TV feed, or the sheer joy when an innocent cutie suddenly gives a nice surprise. Internet sites are largely teaser clips just trying to sell subscriptions or DVDs. Find a clip you like and chances are it will be on a page with content you find yuckky like incest, scat, "school girls", transexuals, gay, grannies or whatever it is you happen to dislike, and if you are really unlucky the next clip will auto start. A good few sites host viruses so you might lose your credit card details or inadvertantly act as a proxy spambot and get on an FBI list. And theres about a 50% chance that the video you click on simply takes you to a page full of liks to other sites or says file not found.
I agree a great deal with this. I do think there is something a bit unique about the medium as we have it so far. Something about a public live performance on telly free to air to whoever wants to watch. And here we are on a forum 'reviewing' those performers and shows. Yet mixed nicely with the semi privacy of the phone conversations.
Something about the internet always seems a bit more private interest or niche; yes cams can be for dozens or hundreds to watch, but that doesn't quite translate the same and there isn't often the same sense of occasion. Maybe not quite there, I'm struggling to pin down what I'm getting at.
I think I know what you mean Roquentin. For want of a better term, would "feeling a part of it" be on the right lines of what you're getting at? I think its a decent point and I've made it before in other, similar threads like this.

Okay, so let me ask you a simple and direct question, for which I would appreciate a simple and direct answer.
Do you not care at all that there is a group of people out there dictating what you, as an adult, can and cannot see on an adult television channel well after the watershed?

RE: What is now the point of these channels.
Yes! you're right Regenerated thanks, the participation of the viewers through calls etc. is a big part of it, though to some extent that is also on internet.
Also I recall something Addison argued (in the middle of a string of comments to and fro, I'm not trying to reopen particularly), about how the provision of softer content elsewhere is more limited these days. Yes through lads mags (including website vids etc) and page 3, but they aren't interactive either, nor live. It is almost as if the channels have brought striptease out of private mens clubs and onto the telly, and actually better than striptease due to the phonesex, if it is done well.
None of this is on the theme of restricted content, which I share the concerns about (Stan above etc. though I still enjoy what content there is), but it is good to think about what it is about the medium that we like (not just the level of content). Think that just about makes me on topic!
