I have tried using this Orbit downloader a couple of times now since you posted the link a few month's ago, though it downloads file quickly my pc tells me the files are corrupted and will not open them.

Anybody else had any issues or am I just a numpty??

Well that is odd I must say.

I use Orbit for pretty much everything except Rapidshare. It DOESN'T work with Rapidshare ...but then people weren't posting complaints about rapidshare, they were frustrated at Megaporn/upload and also when Quiquems was posting Mediafire files there were some frustrations posted about downloading them.

It works great for me with all of those and also with the Sendspace files that the site admin posts.
Don't use it with rapidshare, but rapidshare's access difficulties seem to have diminished recently anyway?

Personally I've not had a problem with any of them, but I try and pick the best off-peak times to download. But by the sounds of things, I've been the lucky one.

Probably was Rapidshare files that I was downloading at the time.
I will try it again using other files.
