Final Crisis
For any that have read it, thoughts???
personally, I'm a bit confused!!! bit disappointed with the GL's, was building up to them getting to earth, expected alot more in issue 7 when they got there, but wasn't much. Confused regarding Batman, He's dead, but then he appears to be at the beginning of time with a guy who looks like the guy in issue 1 metron was with?
Now that its pretty much all out, gonna have to re-read from the start i think! since the breaks between some of the comics releases were a big gap. Maybe it will make more sense!

RE: Final Crisis
Bats isn't dead, get with it lol. Haha j/k, but Didio has stated that Bruce Wayne isn't dead, he just won't be Batman for a while. But to quote wiki, here is what happened to Bats:
The true death came a month later, in the limited series Final Crisis, during which Batman confronts the story's villain Darkseid. Making rare exception, Batman uses a gun, loaded with a Radion (which is poisonous to the New Gods) bullet, to shoot Darkseid's shoulder, just as Darkseid unleashes his Omega Sanction, the "life that is death", upon Batman and his charred corpse is recovered by Superman. However, the Omega Sanction does not kill its victims: instead, it sends their consciousness travelling through parallel worlds, and at the conclusion of Final Crisis, it is made clear that this is the fate that has befallen the still-living Batman, as he watches the passing of Anthro in the distant past.
This is what happens I just couldn't be arsed to type it myself.

RE: Final Crisis
I doubt they'd kill Grayson, he's been so popular as Nightwing, it would fuck it all up.
Plus its gonna be at least a year before they bring bruce back, they have to give him a chance to see how it fares, plus if its less than a year, it just cheapens the whole thing.
Plus Morrison isn't writing batman anymore, he finished with RIP and is taking a break for a bit

RE: Final Crisis
DiDio can be a fool, but he wouldn't be stupid enough to make the mistake of killing Dick Grayson. With Nightwing, its more about Dick Grayson, whereas, Captain America was about the Cap, not Steve Rogers, if you see what i mean. Captain America as a title has been around for MUCH longer, so it can go on with someone else in the role, much like Batman could do the same. I think it would work better for Batman being killed off, lost in time or whatnot rather than Nightwing. If they kill Dick, then it could be lost for good.
