Some tough battles in round two saw some tense finishes with two matches won by only 3 votes and a further two matches by 6 votes.
However we have now reached the last eight stage of this years competition with some enticing encounters in store. Reigning champion and number ten seed Mikaela Witt remains in the hunt after overcoming Abbey B.

Just vote for your winner in each match up. The lady with the most votes will progress to the semi finals. As indicated in the initial competition launch post in the event of a tie the lower number seed will prevail due to a superior qualification performance in reaching the knockout stage.

Also as previously indicated only forum members who have been forum members for at least 30 days prior to the start of the comp will have their votes counted.

And finally as previously indicated the voting time frame is being reduced further as less decisions are required by you.

Therefore the deadline for voting in this round is 9pm on Thursday 12th December 2013.
