Another of the last of the old school entertainers gone.

Tom was probably the last of the old school comedians/all round entertainers from a bygone TV era/ A genuinely funny bloke.

Rose to fame through winning Oppportunity Knocks and was a great game how host with Name that Tune. Loved how the Camera always panned in when pepole said "I'll name that tune in 1!" which I think was a hit show i'd love to see brought back. Crosswits was another as HP mentioned.

We will genuinely not see his like again. Tom we thank you for all the laughs you gave us all, and I'm am sure Liverpool will be a poorer place without him entertaining.

A lovely bloke, a fine (and clean) stand-up, a decent game-show-host and a firm golfer. And Denise Lewis' father in law. Now there's a full life lived!
