RIP Tony Soper

Tony Soper, BBC birdwatching and wildlife pioneer who co-presented Animal Magic in the 1960s has died aged 95.RIP.

A really sad loss.
I still have so many of his books.

Back in the day Tony Soper was my favourite
I didn't go for Attenborough that much, it was always marmosets in Cambodia or beetles in Turkey. Instead, there was Soper in his wellingtons sitting in a clearing in Oxfordshire for an hour and a half waiting for the badgers to come out to play.
