which games generation is the best in your opinion

like the title says which games generation do you think is the best. personally i think the 5th generation (n64, playstation, sega saturn) was the best but i'm also interested to see what everyone else thinks.

I just cannot decide man, I thought it would be simple, what was my favourite game on? But I have 3 favourite games, and they are FFVII, Kingdom Hearts and Chrono Trigger, so PSOne, PS2 and SNES. I am not voting because it is unfair, I have got a favourite consols from every generation but not a favourite generation.

I voted for the 7th generation, because although im a big fan of the classic retro games, Xbox 360 games and PS3 games are so much better in my opinion the graphics, gameplay, great online play and the fact that they can be very addictive.
