The World Cup count down, come on England!

Since 1982, England have won 62% of all World Cup games shown on the BBC, but just 30% of those broadcast by ITV. Tomorrow's game against Slovenia is the first England match of this tournament to be broadcast by the BBC.

Job well done. Who cares if its second place, we're through to the second round and thats the main thing. Come on England, the real tournament starts here. Lets get behind them, lets win the second round, lets go as far as we possibly can, and lets see Steven Gerrard raising that trophy on the 11th July! Come on England!

That was the bottom line. The performance was far from perfect, but it was much better than the previous 2 games. And now that the 'pressure' of getting out of the group stages has gone, maybe, just maybe, we can (and will) play with more freedom.
