Babe Channel - Picture Quality/HD

Has anyone had any thoughts about the picture quality on the babe channels? They seem to range from quite good/sharp to poor/filmed through an old sock! Perhaps we should do a ranking system from the best to the worst, hopefully it will make the powers that be sit up and take notice.

its only a matter of time before Babestation has a premium HD channel and the rest will die or follow in the long run. The normal def feed on my 50" plasma is awful.

Will any of the babechannels launch their channels in HD? Would you watch them? I mean, just think about; Jennifer Jade in HD, Mikaela Witt in HD, Lilly Roma in HD, well any of the girls in HD.

would love to see Amanda(Rendall) in HD!!

Ultimately it'll be down to cost. HD broadcasting is still an expensive entity to all broadcasters and I'm not sure commercially how much of a money maker it might be outside of our main broadcasting companies.

Also ultimately the current standards of HD broadcasting have been superseded by even better technology yet to be commercialised anywhere I guess outside of Japan and as the public are slowly only just taking up the current HD system, I guess the thought of having to replace all TV sets plus all current transmission systems for yet another whole new system is regardless of technology unlikely to happen for a long while yet.

And it's like the fact that broadcasting on terrestrial digital Freeview costs a lot more than satellite transmission as to why more adult channels aren't on the terrestrial digital platforms.

So unless it's financially viable, I wouldn't expect to see any adult HD channels for a while yet.

You're probably right there Terence, and not only that, if all the detail was that sharp and precise, it might make things easier for the so called alleged complainers to Ofcon who might find more reasons for things to complain about and tighten Ofcon's ridiculous reigns and tight restrictions on the babe channels!

Well I'm being selfish. Although I may like to watch the babes in HD. I certainly as a video poster wouldn't like it to happen. Can you imagine what the size of the files would be to post HD video's.

Thanks, but no thanks. I find it hard enough to keep certain videos below 1 gig. I'd have no chance if they went HD.
