Nah I actually thought Thommo was alright, he was injured a lot but when he played I thought he was ok. I'm quietly confident that the team I named would lose every game

MY worst Palace team,

GK; David Fry (Accident waiting to happen)
RB; Ken O'Doherty (Made donkeys look nimble)
LB; Itzhak Zohar (El Tel signing,nuff said)
CB; Jeff Hopkins (Could create an own goal out of nothing)
CB; Neil Ruddock (Last time i saw him play for Palace,he got sent off for trying to start a fight with Marcus Bent only to make a mug of himself,we were laughing at him as he stormed off)
RM; Rudi Hedman (Cult figure,because he was so bad you had to laugh or you'd cry)
CM; Steve Ketteridge (Headless chicken)
CM; Jamie Pollock (Scorer for Palace....Jamie............BOLLOCKS!!!!)
LM; Alex Dyer (World class,when he played against us for Hull,we sign him and overnight turns into a waste of space)
ST; Andy Preece (Only signed because he was a mate of Chris Armstrong)
ST; Bruce Dyer (First million pound teenager,holds the world record for off-sides,seriously when the guy got out of bed in the morning he was being flagged for being 10 yards off)

Tomas Brolin doesn't make the list,simply because when he played for Palace against Leeds at Selhurst,he ended up wearing this huge white bandage on his head and the Leeds players became obsessed with knocking it off his noggin'.It was the funniest thing i've ever seen at a football match every time a Leeds player had the ball in front of Brolin,BANG the ball would be zero'd straight at this huge bandage untill they finally knocked it off.

It's a shame Geoff only gets remembered for that miss against France,he was an absolute colossus for Palace,one of my favorite players of all time.

Phyllis was a classic Palace story of a player who overcame fan ridicule to become a cult figure (much the same as Alan Pardew did),scored some important goals too.

I actually remembered Rudi Hedman after I'd posted my team. I thought he was a centre-back, though. Hopkins nearly made mine as well.

I now hope we don't get any Crewe fans coming on here, as it'll set AV off again

I was tempted to add Sasa Curcic,okay as a player but totally nutso as a human being,it was bizarre when he did a one-man protest at the NATO bombing.

Rudi was jack of all trades,master of none,i've saw him play all over the pitch,Coppell played him on the left wing at Brighton once.........we were hammered,D'OH!
