RLC Website - Chat & Discussion

Who ever's a member of the RLC site should check out the new Playboy Corner link. When i saw the link i wondered why it was there so i clicked on it & after a few seconds i laughed at it. Yeah there's hot babes on it but that's NOTHING to do with call channels or the call channel girls.

I personally find the link a joke & bloody stupid, All i can say is, it's a good job i canceled my subscription cause the sites going to the dogs .

Not sure if its been mentioned before but the stream refreshes every 20 minutes, even in the members area. I assume this is another attempt to stop people from recording the stream. The stream doesn't reload properly and you have to click on the number of the stream you were watching to get the stream working again. More sly, underhand tactics from RLC.

More likely it's trying to avoid wasted bandwidth. 20 minutes doesn't seem that bad anyway.

been like that for a while now, can take a few attempts for the picture to come up. only a problem if youve set a timer to record the stream because it very often fails to start up.

i have to click at least twice on each stream for it to work, ive also cancelled my membership due to the fact the channel itself is a farce but thats away from the issue here.

Also dont they advertise the members area as 'high quality uniterrupted stream'? if im wrong i hold my hands up

When I last looked the advertising said High Quality Live Stream. I couldn't see the word uninterrupted.

I doubt if it's anything underhand. It sounds like it's some technical limitation if the stream doesn't reload straight away.

These problems never happened when the stream was free to view and when videos were allowed on the RLC forum so I stand by my assumption that it's done to prevent people recording.

Maybe you're right. Unless they choose to explain I guess we'll never know one way or another.
