Sadly this is a red herring.

6712 is actually one of the BBC's enhanced TV (ETV) streams used for red button interactivity.

The reported frequency on various satellite sites is 11954 H. See screenshot - you'll see SID 6712 clearly listed.




If you delete 6712 from other channels and then input 11954 H you'll see that 6712 comes up again. If you store it you'll see that it's the same feed.

I don't know why it's also coming up on 11960 H as that's not listed anywhere - it could be a quirk of the Sky box.

The search for eUrotic continues!

I personally doubt that any day show is going to be worth the wait, but there's no harm in being optimistic.

I'll give it until Sunday and after that day I will come to the conclusion that this has just been a hoax and move on and fully expect this Thread to be deleted as it's just become an embarrassment wasting all our time and energy for nothing

It's not looking great and the communication from Eurotic has been hopeless (no change there!) but on the other hand admin would not have created the Eurotic forum without some convincing evidence that the project was for real. Any comments admin?

Now with this being a forum, could it not be possible that somebody joined this forum disguised as an ETV Rep which we have all fell for big style, obviously I hope this isn't true but the whole project has got me baffled, searching for this channel is like scientists searching for other life in the universe, it's a fruitless exercise, personally I've wasted fucking ages scanning for this channel using different frequency's. Do you not think if this channel was going to launch this week we would have had it by now or at least some updates, the reasons this is shrouded in mystery is because it's bullshit, that's why, checked the ETV website and it say's fuck all about a frequency for the UK, why, well because it doesn't exist. don't waste your time looking for this channel on SKY because you'll just end up frustated, it was a nice idea at the time when we all heard the news and we all got our hopes up and some of us just got a wee bit too carried away on the specuation side of things, if you want this channel get another satelite that's my advice. Follow this link and you'll see the differerent frequencys for Hotbird and Astra 1 with absolutely no mention of a frequency for the UK, hm..... I wonder why? http://www.eurotic.tv//

Having said that, I agree with Digital Dave and think it's time a member from admin updated us - presuming they're not as in the dark as we are, of course.

I'm only hazarding a guess but Eurotic are probably still having problems getting passed Ofcom because we all know that Ofcom will still try to stop any new channels with a foreign license that they have no jurisdiction over whether it's a dayshow, nightshow or both. I think that's why Eurotic have not started to broadcast yet. It's just a theory anyway.
