one thing what do people think of not using a ranking system this year and going with a free fa cup style draw, i think all the ranking system dose is protect the big names and stop us from having to make those really hard choices that i think make it a bit more fun, at the moment i feel round 2 is as good as a by for the big names and i think by opening it up you have much more interest a lot earlier

Trust me the tournament will be very straightforward when it kicks off whether Scotsman runs it or whether I do.

Hi winsaw, that's exactly what I suggested. Drop the seedings / rankings because in my view it perhaps influences people to vote a particular way. Of course it's their own choice but with a seeding I do feel there's an influence. I would have preferred an open style round 2 onwards last year, I think you and I had a discussion about it then if I remember rightly.

We can only suggest opinions though. I'll reiterate I'm not trying to take it over, I've no intention of running it or stealing anyone's thunder. Just an opinion.
