I really think Xbox one is starting the long road back to challenging PS4. For a while I genuinely thought I had chosen the wrong console. But with the new dashboard, higher quality games finally arriving, Halo 5 is amazing imo and backwards compatibility have closed the gap. Also the standard of Fallout 4 seems pretty close on both consoles from what I have seen. Hopefully this will lead to a more competitive market, which will benefit owners of both consoles. I may buy a PS4 next year when the FF7 remake lands, I bloody loved that game.

Ive owned both for ages ( not rich just got a good deal on the Xbox one lol ). And it's only in the last few months that ive started using the xbox. I had buyers remorse for the xbox one..... no longer it's deff had a massive improvement with both the system/games area and with how microsoft treats us the consumer. Never had probs with the ps4 but I now look at them as being largely equal systems. This good for the future of console gaming as I def think that competition between companies is good for us the consumer.

I have a PS4, but can't help but notice that quite a few game titles that appear on PS4 are actually selling for a much cheaper price on Xbox One.

So, as you own both consoles, always do a price check and save yourself a few pennies, dude.

I own both consoles & whenever mult-format games come out I usually tend to buy them for the PS4 mainly due to most of my mates being PS4 owners so playing against them online or swapping games with them is a no brainer.I usually reserve my Xone for the exclusive games like Halos,Gears of War,Forza etc.

I find the advantage the Xone has over the PS4 is the ability to play the backward compatible games (X360 games) but with the PS4 I definitely prefer the Trophy & Achievement awards with the Bronze,Silver,Gold & Platinum Trophies (which you get for completing a game 100%) as it's a better Barometer as to the type of game player you are (I'm pretty obsessed with the trophies tbh) than the Xbox points awards.
I also prefer the PSN store layout to the Xbox Gold one.
