Destiny

So far loving the Beta it seems a lot better and more polished then the Alpha, the graphics and controls seem a lot better too.

So am I being ignorant here then. Pre ordered the games a month ago and was told I had access to the beta on the PS4. However I clicked on the icon for the beta yesterday and got an error message. I have not been given any code or told how I am supposed to access it. I just tried it again and the icon is showing I have purchased the game but when I click on the beta icon all I get is an error message. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of this overhyped garbage. What use is a console that has no games. For all is criticism at least the xbox one does what its supposed to do.

Edit: I have been on both the PSN and Budgie help site. There are thousands experiencing the same issue by the looks of things or other problems due to the servers continually crashing. Confusingly some say that you don't need a download key if ordered through psn while some suggest you do. It looks like I am not going to be able to download the beta. I just hope the pre-ordered version is sorted and downloadable without issue come the release day. One thing for sure I will never pre-order anything for direct download again. From now on will be physical copies only

I've been playing the game and every so often it keeps crashing, personally i prefer having the physical copy of the game. On the Wii U with some of games like Zelda Wind Waker which i got for free downloaded that no issues at all or sometimes i down classic game from the NES/SNES era from the Nintendo eShop and never had issue with them.

I have now tried a hard reset of the PS fucking 4 and I still can't download the beta. Tells me its available but when I try to download it just get the error message. I am giving up on it now and just cant be arsed. Its a pile of shit that can fester away for eternity

Funny enough am having the same problem with the EA servers now

Finally resolved the beta issue. My library had a previous attempt to download it showing from 12th June when I pre ordered the game. I deleted this entry then went back into my librsry and downloaded fine.

Yes though I have to say I expect better from the next gen of games consoles. Doesn't look like we are moving on from the old shut down and reboot of years ago lol.
Have to say though Destiny is really good and reminiscent of Halo in feel. Very impressed so far.

Its a pretty good game but the only problems i have with the game is that its unbalanced in terms how damages is taken off you and also with the server error baring in mind that its only a beta and can't be judged until we get the full game just hope this issues are fixed before the game goes gold and then final game.
