This would help if you are changing supplier but may not help if you are just cancelling a channel
Imagine Ofcom doing the job that they were actually set up for.

Do you mean there is more to OFCOM than policing nipple slips ?Surprisedlaugh

Having read the statement, it looks to me that Sky are just playing hardball. Their profits are down 9% so they are looking for a better deal.

and UI doubt if Sky would be interested in that process happening

and if you do cancel bear this in mind

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/bills-and-uti...nt-for-90/

I've cancelled twice in writing in the past when working out of the country for a while. Both times they confirmed in writing within a few days and I stopped the direct debit on the agreed date.

If they call and try to bend your ear, they've confirmed that they've received your letter and you stop the DD 31 days later.

You can also cancel by email these days so your 31 days notice will start even sooner.

I only replied to your post. No need to be so touchy.

Not sure when this went up, but here is their current statement.

As Financial Domination continues to grow, less enthusiasm is required when putting on a show.

The irony of Sky complaining that Discovery want too much money for their channels....

Have to say i will be gutted if the proposed removal of the Discovery channels happens, when im not watching babeshows i tend to favour Quest with its mixture of crime and older episodes of motoring shows like Wheeler Dealers,Overhaulin and Fifth Gear, sad times.

^^ Quest is available on freeview, I wonder if this goes ahead (which looks likely right now), will they eventually pull that as well.

Be ironic if that channel remained available free to air, but not on the paid channels because of a cost dispute Smile
