Arsenal were also very poor from what iv'e seen of the highlights, very poor defensively, I think juventus are more than capable of beating bayern as juve are a great defensive team and like to play on the counter and bayern havent got much pace at the back with van buyten & dante

I thought Arsenal were probably still reeling from the FA cup game. I am beginning to wonder if this will be the beginning of the end for Wenger. Arsenal will need a miracle in Germany. Whether Arsenal have given any thought as to who his successor will be, Ihope that Mourinho isn't tempted!!

Possibly Manuel Pellegrini to arsenal, I could see that happening soon if things carry on.. on another note AC Milan v Barcelona, you'd expect it to be a great game but it's possibly the most boring match iv'e ever seen... Iv'e actually turned it off.

It picked up a little in the second half.

AC Milan were absolutely magnificent tonight, gave a master class in great defending and fully deserved their win.

In a game were its all about attack, I really enjoyed AC Milan's defensive performance tonight.

Agree! AC fought all the way to thier bone-marrow for that win and Barca got so desperate that they put Pique upfront and started throwing long balls and crosses to him as they coundn't break AC defenceSurprised A masterclass on how to defendCool

RE: Champions League 2012/2013 Thread
AC Milan proved tonight that its not about how much possession you have, but how effectively you use it. Barcelona had twice the amount of possession compared to AC Milan and only had 2 shots all game and never forced Abbiati to make a decent save. AC Milan on the other hand had more than twice the amount of shots Barca (although it had all game that didn't have many clear cut chances on goal) and were just more clinical up front.

Is the tie over? Not by a long shot. This Barcelona team are one of the greatest teams ever to play the game and can turn this around. Remember Milan almost fucked up a 4-0 first leg lead last against Arsenal, so its still game on in this tie. I wonder will this Milan team struggle on a larger pitch though in the Nou Camp, but anything is possible if they defend like they did tonight.

Inter Milan, AC Milan, Chelsea and Celtic have shown that there is a way to beat this Barcelona team, although I think the two Milan clubs did it better than Chelsea and Celtic. You just have to be organised and disciplined in defence and not give Barcelona the time and space they need to score against you.

By spending money on players who have the ability to play for AC Milan would be my guess Wink
