Just seen a trailer for the promising looking Pacific Rim, out July 2013. Looks a bit like cloverfield though imdb states earth gets invaded by aliens and humans fight back with robots. Sounds a bit high brow to me

Actress Alice Eve will be playing Carol Marcus in Star Trek Into Darkness, Marcus was created for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as an old love interest of Captain Kirk's and the mother of his son, David. She also was one of designers of the Genesis Device.

The Last Airbender's Nicola Peltz has reportedly been cast in director Michael Bay's Transformers 4. She will be reportedly will be playing daughter of Mark Wahlberg's protagonist. Its also being reported that Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent) "will be playing Peltz's biker boyfriend."

Just posted up the new Man of Steel trailer towards the end of the trailer where Superman puts his fist on the ground and takes off so reminded me of how Clark took and flew in Smallville:
