Boyle is an indie director, the closest he came to making a big budget film was Sunshine and that was average at best. He is also very much a leftie and i dread to think what he would have done to bond.

Not sure I agree with someone being a indie director so they can’t do blockbusters there loads of indie directors, Darren Aronofsky, Matt Reeves (now doing Batman before planet of the apes films), James Gunn before he was fired, Colon Trevorrow, Marc Forster another indie did the Bond film Quantum of Solace originally was supposed to Casino Royale. Paul Greengrass did the Bounce Supremacy, Doug Liman The Bourne Identity and Captain Phillips, Edge of Tomorrow, Bryan Singer, The Wachowskis. Disney use indie directors and are gonna be using a lot more of them on up and coming movies this came from Kevin Feige himself. Sam Mendes who did Skyfall are nd Spectre is more left wing then he is right. As for politics, reglious beliefs personally couldn’t give a toss as long I get a good film or tv show I couldn’t care less about someone’s beliefs totally up to them whether there left or right. Don’t agree with any of Tom Cruise religious but as a actor I love his films, acting and craft and his still one my fav actors. Even knows am more DC then Marvel but I still like both one of my fav comic artist is Ethan Van Sciver his a right wing Trump supporter yet one my fav artist and yet my views are totally different and DC who he used to work for are left wing. Life is all about giving chances sometimes it pays off sometimes it doesn’t but if you never give people a chance you’ll never know just look at the Russo Brothers and there not right wing either.

The Meg has now grossed over $318m worldwide despite the changes in tone from the novels,which are much darker.I thought it would be a total flop.

Jon Hamm, Ed Harris and Lewis Pullman have been added to cast to Top Gun: Maverick.

Alec Baldwin been cast in the stand alone Joker movie, it’s being reported he’ll be playing Thomas Wayne.

A Quiet Place sequel been given a release date of May 15th 2020 and. Top Gun: Maverick been pushed back to June 26th 2020. Alec Baldwin had to drop of the standalone Joker movie because of scheduling issues.

It’s been confirmed that Actress Robin Wright will be returning as Antiope for Wonder Woman 1984, she briefly appeared in Justice League and prior to that Wonder Woman. Something tells me this will be a flashback sequence.

Going to be a first look at Captain Marvel today at Noon eastern time in the us (6pm) uk time.
