Deadline New York is reporting that Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne's Unique Features is nearing a deal to acquire the film rights to the PlayStation 3 game "Heavy Rain."

have been expecting this announcement for a while now as there have been rumours about this for a while as apparently megan had fallen out with director michael bay and mikaela was either being killed off or screentime reduced. in the current issue of zoo they make a big fuss about pics theyve got which they claim are megan on the set of transformers 3 so theyve got eggs on their faces

very interesting to see who replaces her and how they explain mikaela barnes's departure on screen. hope it isnt vanessa hudgens

i have some news about megan fox's replacement for transformers 3 having been on the net today. apparently british actress gemma arterton who is in prince of persia (out this week), and was a bond girl in quantum of solace is already in talks to appear in transformers 3 which is due to start filming this summer and out in cinemas in july 2011 (possibly in 3D)

She's still just a candidate rammy, all the girls in Wades list are in talks, that's why they're candidates. Gemma is just the front runner.

yes i did spot gemmma in your post but i read that she had been spotted in talks rather than just on a list of names so thats why i posted it myself

as i stated, they are all candidates for the film, as in they are ALL in talks for the role, otherwise they would just be called guesses.....

New Line Cinema has reportedly hired a screenwriter for the upcoming MacGyver movie. Bangkok Dangerous scribe Jason Richman has been tapped to pen the big screen update.

Sounds like Katie Cassidy (of Supernatural & Melrose Place) is the new frontrunner for Transformers 3, she is reportedly in talks and is now more favoured than Gemma Arterton. Apparantly sees her as the perfect choice.
