Thanks for this . He really was crap wasn't he? In france they thought we must have the most gifted midfielders to have ever played the game. Hoddle and Waddle were two of the best playes in the arguably best league in the world at the time could not get int the England squad for the likes of Carlton Palmer, Jeff Thomas, David batty etc. The guy was clueless.
I did not really rate Bobby Robson at the time He was England manager but I certainly did after Grahame Taylor took over.He played Lee sharpe in a position he never played at any level in a crucial qualifier against Norway(need we say more?). He just grinned his way like an idiot when questioned by the press over his selection(come on rob get a smile on your face). When askedrby Elton Welsby at another time about who he was going to pick for the upcoming gane he just smugly replied 'its none of your business Elton' absolute prat.
Then of course to really show what a prat he was he went up to the linesman and said'tell the refere he cost me my job'
not 'he cost england a place in the world cup finals'
He was arrogant, selfish, and incompetent when in charge. As someone said he did more damage to the english than the IRA every did or could.

Asene Wegner has admitted he was not always telling the truth when he said he did not see the incidents involving his players. Really well he certainly had me. The fact that he he developed eagle like eye sight when it came to his players being fouled yet was as a blind as a bat when it came to his own players antics, was purely coincidental.Thank you Arsene for being so honest and confessing the truth, honestly it would never been discovered, you are a man of true moral depth and integrity.

The fact that I was there when against west ham in 1998 fa cup replay and john moncur was pulling the strings in midfield, and you put on viera against him kicked him into the air got booked, decided to put keown on him who to promptly kicked him in the air got booked, decided to put parlour up against him who to kicked moncur in the air, got booked but this time got moncur taken off injured. I am sure that they went against your orders of trying to play beautiful football, and were suitably disciplined.

He is an absolute hypercrite who has double standards. How the media think he is a lovely honest man who only cares about the spirit of the game is beyond me.

Am I the only englishmen who would love to see Arsenal get an absolute hiding tonight? Normally I would never want a scottish team to beat an english one, but how english are aresenal? Their manager says he does not look at their passport in deciding who he wants to play for him. Well I agree he is no bigot he does not care what none englishman plays for him!
