20th Century Fox has set a March of 2015 release date for their planned reboot Fantastic Four Reborn.

Looks like being another great year for movies next year.
If the brief trailer for Man of Steel is anything to go by then it looks to be getting the Dark Knight treatment with a darker and edgier look to it. I hope so as the Superman franchise deserves a serious approach.
Jack Reacher looks interesting, Startrek looks brilliant as does Die Hard in Russia (or whatever its called) and World War Z. Then of course there is Iron Man 3 and Thor 2. Best get saving up for the cinema tickets!!

Bronson and Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn is in early talks to direct Columbia Pictures' upcoming adaptation of The Equalizer with Denzel Washington attached to play the lead.

I think either Benedict Cumberbatch gotta be playing either Gary Mitchell or Khan with the current trailer am leaning more towards it being Mitchell well until we see the next trailer. What ever case i have this feeling that Benedict Cumberbatch is gonna be a great bad guy in Star Trek Into Darkness.

After five weeks in release, James Bond returned to first place in North America with weekend ticket sales of $11 million for Skyfall. The Sony Pictures and MGM release currently has a domestic total to date of $261.6 million. Internationally, Skyfall grossed an estimated $20.3 million this weekend, bringing the film's overseas total to $656.6 million. Skyfall has now taken in $918 million worldwide - the highest-grossing film ever released by Sony Pictures, beating Spider-Man 3's $890 million. Skyfall Has now become Sony's highest grossing film ever.

Also Chinese star Wang Xuequi has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' upcoming Iron Man 3 in the role of Dr. Lu, his said to be an original character created specifically for the film.

There might be some truth in this rumour. I have had a niggling thought since I first saw the movie in the summer. Joseph Gordon-Levitts character; Blake, being trained to take over the mantle of Batman by Bruce Wayne. I know at the end of the Dark Knight he says he is called Robin but this premise would give continuation to the existing trilogy and if handled correctly with the right director, cast and script could be a winner. One thing is for the sure the money men in Hollywood will want the franchise to continue, given the financial success of these three films. This could then tie in with the Justice League film. Just a thought
