Skyfall has received 8 BAFTA nominations, including Best British film and individual nods for Javier Bardem and Dame Judi Dench.

Apparently JJ Abrams heard about a young terminally ill boys' wish to see the latest Star Trek movie before he died. He arranged for him to join him for an advanced screening. Sadly the young boy passed away shortly afterwards but what a nice gesture from the director.

Think this is the best place to post this but not quite sure. Just read that Play.com are stopping selling dvd's and games directly. They are closing several warehouses and reducing staffing levels quite heavily. Apparently they are undergoing a restructuring and will operate more along the lines of ebay from now on.

This really sad news plus with the amount of jobs going as well, that would explain why some there steel books have disappeared and aren't being restocked. I wonder what they will be doing with there own stock after march?.

A Good Day To Die Hard will be rated R over in the states so hopeful it should be a 18 over here and Jurassic Park IV has been given the official release date of June 13, 2014.
Jurassic Park IV will be produced by Spielberg with a director yet-to-be-named. It is also being planned for a 3D release and the Ninja Turtles reboot might start filming in April of this year.

presume michael bay will be doing the turtles reboot then go straight into filming transformers 4 which comes out in june 2014 if the turtles are being filmed in april

A bit more news. play.com are based in the channel islands where they took advantage of a vat loophole. This has now been closed by the government. In response play.com are closing their retail business and changing into an online only marketplace. I presume they will either sell stock off before March or sell it wholesale to another merchant. Might be a massive sale to keep an eye out for I suppose. Shame for the staff who will lose their jobs.

It's looking more and more likely that Guillermo Del Toro will be directing Hell boy 3. All the cast have agreed to return allegedly.
