just broke on sky news that hmv has been bought by restructuring company hilco for £50 million. could be officially confirmed as soon as tomorrow morning

The last time i was in HMV last weekend there stuff in there was still dear, they really need change the marketing if they wanna survive especially now by the looks of things they've been given a second chance.

got some blu ray bargains last week from the hmv in manchester city centre. watchmen mr manhattan limited edition for just £5 reduced from £30, ice road truckers series 3 (3 disc) and primeval series 4 (2disc) both for less than £10 each. interesting to see if some of the shops that have been marked for closure do actually close now

Its nice to hear some good news that not all those people will be losing there jobs especially with how things are like in the job front, there not out of the woods just yet especially that Hilco have had a mixed track record with other chains like Allied Carpets, Ethel Austin and Woolworths. Its a step in right direction but as i said in my previous post they need to totally change there business plan other wise this could happen.
