My mates wife's assistant manager at work has a sister. This sister who is an actress, had been out of touch for over a month. Just as the family were getting worried they had a call from her to say that.... She has been cast as the daughter of Han and Leia in Starwars VII. Apparently, on accepting the role she had to undergo a complete blackout, remaining incommunicado in order to avoid the paparazzi. She was whisked away to a hidden luxury location to stay, while filming in London. My mate and I have put in a request to meet the sister and get an invite to the set

Sad news that H.R Giger the designer of the creature from Alien has died. His design transformed the way Aliens were portrayed in movies and set the trend with many pale imitators over the last 30 years, from Xtro to Species. They all owe homage to his unique design. Bloody scared the shit out of me at the time too, in a dark cinema!
