Connie Nielsen has been cast as Wonder Woman's mother and queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta.

I agree. I am a Marvel boy and the DCU are coming out in full force over the next coule of years should be fun and look forward to it love Batman cause any of us can be him!!!!

I would imagine the next one will be the 'Empire Strikes Back' of the new trilogy, before a 'Return of the Jedi' episode IX. I think they'll try to replicate what they did with this one - a different spin on the same story, but with new elements in the mix.

And regarding the DC / Marvel movies - I'm a massive Superman fan, but even I think this one is going to be awful. Man of Steel showed that while Zack Snyder can put together a decent superhero movie, he doesn't get the character of Superman / Clark at all - and I can't see that changing. And looking at the trailer, I have a horrible feeling about what he'll do with Bruce Wayne.

Personally I never had a problem with Man of Steel I like the fact that it was a different take on Superman same as how Smallville had a different take on Clark Kent. Sometimes you can please everyone they make Superman Returns people complain a lack chemistry with cast and it being too much copy of the original Superman films they make Man of Steel people complain too much action or it's too different you can't win. Just as in the comics different comic book writers have written Superman differently whether it's been with Dan Jurgens run on the comics, Geoff Johns, John Byrne and Grant Morrison. As for judging how Batman it's little unfair until the actually film comes then you can judge it. I think it will different as remember this version of Batman is older and been around for a long time and since hasn't currently got a stand alone film they will have to develop and focus on his character.
As for the next Star Wars film I have no problem with it being darker and running in the same vein as Empire Strikes Back but i hope it doesn't make the same mistake as Forve Awakens abs tries to much to copy the previous films they have blank canvas to do some thing new the series now if they can do this and still make it feel like a Star Wars film like Force Awakens then it's gonna be another hit it will blow it away on release.
