Regarding Emilia Clarke and not doing any more terminator films,I don't blame her.That last one was embarrassingly crap.

Have to disagree, whilst it's not the best terminator film, it's not embarrassingly crap or as bad as lots of people have said it was

Well have to agree to disagree on this one.

After 5 minutes,5 mates and myself realised it was one of the worst films we had ever seen.All glitter and no substance.Just like most films that rely on CGI over compelling story.

The problem with Terminator Genisys is it struggled like the previous other two films to match the the first two Terminator films, the idea of going back into first two films via time travel on paper was a good idea put the execution wasn't done very well films like Back To The Future Part 2 have done a better job of it. The trailers gave away too much of the film especially the big twist which so many films these days do. The CGI in places didn't look any different to how they were in Terminator 2.
Some of characters weren't as good as there terminator 1 and 2 counter parts for example Linda Hamiliton version of Sarah Connor was way better she starts off in the first film being a scared naive young woman but by the second film she's a strong, independent kick ass fighter character Emilia Clarke is a very good actress but you don't believe she's like the previous character. Michael Biehn was a better Kyle Reese you physical believed he had come from a worn torn era with him looking so thin and physical scared and battered in the new film his totally buffed up again you don't believe his that character from a worn torn era.
The film lacks the heart and soul of the first two films, the first film was a mixture of horror and action but when it gets to Terminator 2 it keeps that element but adds more action a similar process with Alien to Aliens and it worked and funny enough James Cameron was able to keep the elements of both terminator and alien and improve both films with there sequels. Terminator Genisys lacked chemistry, if your watching it for action then it is enjoyable but to the first two terminator films is a disappointment.
