What does every one think about The Chat & who is your top presenter!

helloooooo dudess! well the whole 15 pages made an interesting reading!

so i thought seeing as i havent been on here for a while id give my 2bobs worth(no pun intended ...bob...get it...ok not that funny...ahem)

so there are people umming and arrring about 'whats the point in the chat' blah blah bullpoo...the point is if you dont get it dont watch! no ones forcing u too...and if u do watch and complain then more fool you for sitting there watching something u dont enjoy what a waste of bloody time!

the general consensus is that there is a big difference between the chat and the other channels...most obviously on the chat we are behind desks so you dont see much of our bodies and we dont gyrate around like dogs on heat!
At the end of the day the sexier shows have their place and im all for the fact that those shows brighten up the days of you guys that wanna look at something hot and do what u wanna do...ahem...but at the same time please understand that not everyone is LIKE YOU...and therefore some people arent as interested in sitting there and looking at a glorified porn mag. They would rather watch the kind of girls similar to those that maybe they went to school with, worked with , went on a date with. Girls that dont use a fake voice to try to convince you they like you , and girls that if you offend them will simply tell you to get lost. sure our conversations can drift from time to time- have you ever tried talking for 6 hrs straight? im guessing not- but one things for sure when you watch the chat you are hearing real conversation-the kind of convos we have when we stay over at friends,go out for food , chat on the phone. So yeah some of it is candy floss coated fluffy cloud non sense but we arent trying to be scientist sgiving a report on CNN , we are just being girls doing what girls do when they get together(and no boys its not get our kit off and touch each other) simply CHAT!

as for digs at the girls on the chat being failed this that and the other and also not good enough to be on the nightshows...ha...dont kid yourself ...many of us could walk on those shows but it would have nothing to do with whether we can even speak english it would simply be new flesh on show- one of our girls getting her kit off would pull in more viewers than a favourite on any other show simply because of the mystery !

oh and last but not least - i have had the pleasure of bumping into 4 people i speak to at various events...gigs, festivals and randomly at a train station(without a scrap of make up on and very ill) and genuinely appreciated being able to have a one on one conversation with each of them. i dont charge 15quid to have a picture taken with me and i know the other girls would be as welcoming so no i dont think we think we are better than anyone!

My goodness Bob was you trying to write a book? I like what you'er saying and I defo get where you are coming from. If you don't like a program why text in or waste time looking at it, simple thing to do is switch over and look at something on tv that does float your boat. I for one dislike programs like early bird, babestation day/night time so I don't look at it. The girls on those show don't interest me one single bit, but they are over 18 and it's thier choice to be on them, can't tell them what's what or the viewers what to tune into. I love Bobbi and the chat as you get to have a joke and a laugh, share points of views and we have topics of the day. And we can also take the micky out each other in a nice way because after being on the chat for a while she gets to know some of our ways as I do with the chat girls. The chat is brill because it's a non sex show and the girls can wear day to day clothes like jeans and a sweater/t-shirt or can wear a nice dress/skirt without being in thier underwear or swim wear without fake boobs and tits hanging out. On the chat (bob would 2nd this) ,we are like one big happy family. If bob hasn't seen someone who texts or rings for a few week she begins to wonder how they are and so do most of the other girls and viewers. But we have to respect each others views and tastes I do. I just hate fake put on voices by a girl from the other day/night shows trying to act fake, now thats makes me sick. Cheers Bob love you from the heart and to everyone nice comments, keep it real.

In my opinion, its a good show that reeeeally needs a new look - have the graphics & set changed since it started?

The Chat definately has its place and it is good to have an alternative to the other daytime channels. However, when any programme is on for 10 hours a day, 365 days a year, it needs to be kept fresh and I personally don't think that The Chat does that as well as it could.

the set did change when they were on the old studio but when cellcast moved them into this 'box room' their using now i don't think there's enough room to do anything much with it, so untill cellcast wanna invest some money into it and at least try to let the show progress not sure what anybody can do

Changes were going to happen and then the hours got cut, Cellcast I understand wanted to take it off air permanently until an Irish company bought a share of it.

Since then it has been a slow process to prove to the bosses that the programme can met it's income targets which it has and in turn has meant that the show is back up to 10 hours a day.

It has due to the Irish Company's influence that they added an Irish phone and text number, a short code number so that you can phone from a mobile for the same price as from a landline. Bambi welcomes new ideas as to how to improve the show and will attempt to get them adopted by the bosses but as I have said before the final decision as to whether anything happens is utimitately down to the bosses and therefore it is up to those who want changes to get behind Bambi in getting the bosses to get any changes through.

Each to their own Bobbi. An interesting read. Maybe one of ur girls could appear for a stint on Babestation to test out your theory, Non-nude of course. I personally dont think that they would get any more viewers/callers then an average girl already on a nightshow. Thats not me having a go, it's just based on some recent daygirl converts to the nightshows.

The Chat adds variety to the 900 channels and is a worthy channel for it's admirers. I check who is on from time to time(Looking for Emma Ashley), but I dont watch the Chat at any length.

What would interest me is losing the desk and giving some freedom of movement to the girls. It would be hard at present with the closet space studio and the girls dont even have to be scantilly clad. Plus if the girls are not gyrating around like dogs on heat that resembles a glorified porn mag, then alternative modes of entertainment are required. Like the vid below. How I miss those days. It would showcase the girls and their personalities. It's a ratings winner.

As I write this, Babestation Daytime is sporting new on-screen graphics... Cellcast have been in the game for so long that they must recognise The Chat needs similiar investment; it makes you question whether the programme is in their long-term plans.

Let's hope Bambi & co can help the programme to prove its worth!!

P.S Totally agree Josh! I think they believe that moving out from behind the desk will instantly make them like the other channels, but there is a difference between being active on screen and gyrating around like dogs on heat!

hi josh , thankyou for posting that video...yeah that kind of having fun behaviour is not enough for most channels nowadays! in my opinion i had enough flesh on show and moved around(granted in a not very sexy way) enough for people to see top to toe outfit but had to leave when they wanted meet to actually act like i was having sex and wear less clothing
! It was cool to be able to move freely but unfortunately i didnt have as many nice callers as i do now...back then you could average that at least half the people who called would ask you what ur breast size size is or if they can see you feet.

so if the chat went that way with more movement and showing more of us by removing the desk we would be encourging those calls that arent as enjoyable as others!

As i said i beleieve the other shows have their place and the chat has its own aswell!
And i still stand by my comment abouut new flesh- when Lori did night for the first time ...incredible who didnt tune in?X
