RE: New Ofcom Rules
This is my radical proposal for consideration. Sky, Freeview, BT and Virgin media all send a representative along with a member of the Government and Ofcom to thrash out a deal which suits all. All box's as I have said in my previous post be reconfigured and new steps are put in place with every customer to be offered the new box's free of charge and all box's thereafter are all adult 6 digit pin protected. This could be a new Government legislation to reflect a democratic society that doesn't hinder the over 18's or violate the rights for the minors to be protected. This technology would not be hard to upgrade to and would uphold the British broadcasting code. Rather than try to take on Ofcom or the Government with regards to censorship this is the ideal solution to which all parties would be happy with.

What exactly are you saying, RCTV? You are, of course, perfectly entitled to your opinion that Ofcom's 'tightening up' is a good thing, but I have to wonder why, when we offer soloutions such as mantory PIN protection, you say it shouldn't be enforced.
I wonder more and more, with every post of yours I read, what your involment and motives regarding these babeshows are.

I don't think that's wholly accurate, john, to be perfectly fair. ETV certainly isn't HC, but we do get lingering shots of the girls lower halves and labia - albeit with closed legs.

i never said mandatory, well least i don't think i did and didn't mean to if i did. you can't enforce PINs as people will say that they can't be forced to do things as it's against their human rights.
I'm soon to be ex-owner of a spanish channel and know the uk industry as used to work in it, and can tell you the nasty side and know the nasty side.

RE: New Ofcom Rules
Sorry RCTV but you're talking bull shit with the exception of the last statement because I'm sure like everything in life there is a nasty side to the porn industry. If you read my post about a solution to this problem ie new box's with a 6 digit code locking out the adult channels when purchased it puts the rights of responsibility into the viewers whether or not they be parents or guardians. We all on this forum are looking for a solution to this problem. The people at present who are taking away our human rights at present are ofcom and I'm beginning to wonder if you work for them undercover or something.

It's a soloution that Ofcom couldn't possibly argue with, and precisley why it's also a soloution that scares the shit out of them. The government needs to take this out of their hands and make it happen. I also fail to see how it could be argued by anyone that they're being 'forced' to do something, as RCTV suggests. They're not being forced to do anything other than make the simple decision as to whether they want the adult channels unlocked or not.

By stopping me, as an adult, watching adult material that's on a level with the government's guidlines and not Ofcom's made-up ones.
Ask me a difficult one.
